Reddit Analytics Pro ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data Collection

What We DO Collect:

• Public Reddit Data: When you hover over a Reddit username, we fetch publicly available data from Reddit's public JSON endpoints (e.g., karma, posts, comments, account age)
• Usage Statistics: Anonymous count of profiles analyzed (stored locally)
• Tracked Users: Usernames you choose to track (stored locally in your browser)

What We DO NOT Collect:

• Your browsing history
• Your Reddit account credentials
• Your personal information
• Your Reddit activity or posts
• Any data from non-Reddit websites
• IP addresses or device identifiers

How We Use Data

Local Storage Only:

• All extension data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
• Analytics data is cached for 5 minutes to improve performance
• Tracked users list is synced across your Chrome browsers (if Chrome sync is enabled)

No External Transmission:

• We do NOT send your data to our servers
• We do NOT sell or share your data with third parties
• Each user fetches Reddit data directly from Reddit's servers
• No centralized database of user analytics

Optional RedBoss Integration:

• If you connect your RedBoss Pro account, tracked users may sync to your RedBoss dashboard
• This is OPTIONAL and requires explicit connection via API key
• You can disconnect at any time

Reddit's Data

All profile data shown by this extension is:

• Publicly available on Reddit
• Fetched directly from Reddit's public endpoints
• Subject to Reddit's own privacy policy and terms of service

We do not access or store any private Reddit data.

Third-Party Services

Reddit:

We fetch public data from Reddit's servers. Your use of Reddit is subject to Reddit's Privacy Policy.

RedBoss (Optional):

If you choose to connect to RedBoss Pro, data sharing is subject to RedBoss's Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data stored by the extension in Chrome DevTools
• Delete: Clear all cached data via the extension popup
• Control: Untrack users at any time
• Uninstall: Remove the extension completely, which deletes all local data

Data Retention

• Analytics Cache: Automatically expires after 5 minutes
• Tracked Users: Stored until you manually untrack or uninstall
• Usage Count: Stored until you uninstall the extension

Security

• All data is stored securely using Chrome's built-in storage API
• No data transmission to external servers (except optional RedBoss sync)
• Extension follows Chrome Web Store security best practices

Children's Privacy

This extension does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Reddit's Terms of Service require users to be 13+.
